2016 SCARAB CLUB
PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

Deadline: Midnight, Sunday, September 11, 2016

The Scarab Club invites submissions for its 2106 Photography Exhibition, an unthemed exhibition which is open to all artists. The purpose of the exhibition is to recognize the diversity and achievement of artists whose work shows creativity of concept, excellence of design and expertise of media; to display these works to regional audiences and to be an educational opportunity for students. 

JUROR: LISA SPINDLER 
Lisa Spindler is a photographer, artist, and collector working in Detroit, Michigan. For the past 30 years, she has showcased her work in solo and group exhibitions, including the Detroit Institute of Arts, Ralph Pucci International, Room with a View, and Galerie Camille Detroit. Lisa’s photographs have appeared on the cover of The New York Times (Sunday) Magazine, and in U.S. News & World Report, Health, and Graphis. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the American Advertising Federation ADDY for her work on Lupus awareness with Saatchi & Saatchi; Society of Publication Designers 42nd Design Annual Award; and eleven CADDY awards for Homeless Photographs for W.B. Doner. Lisa’s work also appears in private and corporate collections in the United States and abroad, including the Detroit Institute of Arts, Tampa Museum of Art, Gallagher Kaiser Detroit, and The Ritz Carlton Dubai. Her clients include The Henry Ford Museum, Neiman Marcus, Orleans & Winder, The New York Times (Sunday) Magazine, Four Seasons Hotels, Real Simple, Geffen Records, and the American Cancer Society.
