Chamber Music at the Scarab Club’s April 3rd program salutes the colors of the American, French and Italian flags, celebrating music by composers from all three countries! Alta Boover, John Madison and Mary Siciliano will perform the intensely beautiful Quatre Poèmes by American composer Charles LOEFFLER. Performances of Sonata for Violin and Piano by Francis POULENC and Sonata for Two Violins and Piano by Darius MILHAUD will represent the music of France. Both pieces are exceptional but rarely heard live. The Italian selection on this program is the delightful and dramatic Duet for Cello and Double Bass by Gioachino ROSSINI.

Mary Siciliano - piano   Alta Boover - mezzo-soprano   John Madison - viola
Velda Kelly - violin    Laura Roelofs - violin
Sarah Cleveland - cello    Jean Posekany - double bass
